Volvo Engine Torque Rod (850 C70 S70 V70) - Pro Parts Sweden 9141042 - approx $21

I installed this piece about ten months ago. The OEM one was ripped. Well, as some of you have probably paid attention, I sometimes skimp out on parts. Thank you all for your suggestions, especially for trying to steer me towards OEM or better. Well, this was something I purchased before I came on here. I paid $21 at FCP for this piece. (It's a little more right now.) Well, right out of the bat, I noticed it wasn't super stiff. It seemed a little pliable. But being that I knew little about how rubber pieces work on cars, I decided to give it a shot anyway.

Background:
We've done about 6k+ miles around NYC. We don't really drive very long distances except out to Long Island a couple of times a week. We don't race. We're pretty laid back drivers.

I would not recommend this product.

You can fill the void with Vulkem caulk, $5 at Home Depot.

cn90, I've heard about that fix. Have you done it? Is it a good bet? I still have the Volvo one. It's a little rusty, but I could scrape off the rust and spray it down with rust inhibitor. Hmm... Would be cheaper than dropping $50 on the Hutchinson one...
