Have a fuel problem check the fuse and the relay ,and ok ,and listed to hear any sound coming from the gas tank with the key on the on position, and with no sound. not sure if you can hear any sound.

If the fuel filter is pluged would you or would you not hear the fuel pump?

Review my posts on fuel pumps in this forum, if you haven't done so already.

Your car has two fuel pumps, a small one in the tank and the big one under the car below the drivers seat. It will run on the big pump only, but not on the small pump only. Check #11 fuse to see if it is blown. If so, replace BOTH pumps. DO NOT replace the big pump without replacing the small pump and filter sock in the tank, too.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
