99 S70 Caliper & Disk Torque Specs

Post by alam »

Ok Gang,

I'm about to replace a front caliper (driver side) and brake disks on a 99 S70 - what are all the torque specs involved in this? Any hints or things to watch out for? Thanks,

Caliper bracket bolts should torque to 73 lb.-ft. or, if you are old school like me, 73 ft.-lbs. The pins should be 22 ft.-lbs.

Lube the pins with a very thin coat of grease and apply a thin coat of grease to the top of the caliper bracket so that the caliper works freely.
