94 850 wagon hesitation

Post by AlexW2424 »

I have been having this problem with hesitation at speed anywhere from 30-70 miles per hour. The car seems to choke or gasp for fuel. It all started after I had the fuel pump replaced. Does anyone have some insight?

Was the fuel filter replaced at the same time? If so, are you sure you have a good fuel pump that puts out a constant pressure at all RPMs?

my '99 s70 t5 is doing the same thing. I am going to try replacing the fuel filter first. I think it also might be the a dirty throttle body, or bad electronic throttle control module$$$, but I hope not as they can run upwards of 600 bucks just for the part!!
