This is minor but does anybody know where to buy a replacement passenger side rear booster seat or booster seat mechanisim. Seems the locking mechanisim under one of ours is jammed or the cable has come loose, because the release handle has no tension on it and the seat will not come out of the down position. I might can fix it, assuming I can get the booster out of the seat without releasing it from the down position.
Thanks
Andrew

This is a common problem.
Almost all of these cables fail at one point.
Take it to a Volvo dealer. This is the cheapest alternative then trying to buy a seat.
You would have to buy an entire used rear seat (with boosters)!

There's a little trick but unfortunately I can'r explain how to do it however using a different angle to pull on it works at times.stockton wrote:I would rather not replace the whole booster, so there is a replacement cable mechanism? How do you remove the booster seat, to replace the cable mechanism, if it is locked in the down position.
Thanks
Andrew
Try pulling on the handle and pulling straight forward on the seat, do not try to lift it UP and forward, wiggle it around. Sometimes this works too.
I don't think you can replace just a booster seat in itself anyway without buying an entire rear seat with boosters
