Need help with error codes

Post by mrHook »

I just replaced my 02 with an 06 V70 due to issues on the ETM. So the car we just bought have some fault codes that I need help with to investigate:

CCM -0060
CCM-0062
CCM-0063
CCM-0070
CCM-DD12
CCM-DD30
CCM-DD31

CEM-8F12
CEM-8F1D

Is there someone that has any good ideas to where I should start my investigation of these errors?
(the break issue is going to be repaired by seller next week.)

Try to go through diagnostic flow charts for BCM and CEM: http://xemodex.com/us/diagnostic-flow-charts/

The BCM issue is the sellers responsability to fix since we just bought the car. But do you think that the CCM issue might be caused of that aswell?

As for BCM only issue is wheel sensors. But details needs to be posted. That maybe and very old issue and can be ignored.
CCM There is issues with seat heater control modules and some damper motor.
ECM has issue with thermostat that is cause of BCM-0100.
UEM faulty siren module.
CEM current issue with headlamp adjuster motor
SAS faulty steering wheel sensor. Causing BCM-0115 and BCM-0148

All yellow codes needs to be checked for details and counters. Without this information they are useless.

And all these codes are not software related.
If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer :)

doublebug,do you think that replacing the seat heater control module might be enough to get the seat heater working again?

Seem so but after replacing CCM identification should be done via VIDA.

With this information can we surely say that with 99% chance it is the module since they are rather expensive.

These modules are often faulty and cause CCM to malfunction.
