This one has got me. My left turn signal flashes 2 or 3 times as fast as the right one.
I thought that maybe one of the bulbs would be bad but both were ok...and even went as far as to replace with 2 known good ones. What gives? Turn Signal relay going bad or does someone else have an idea here?

I've had this happen too when one of the bulbs is burned out...even one on the other side. Check all your blinking turn signal bulbs to see if you have one out.

Thanks for the replies. All bulbs are good and work, so will go about and try another relay to see what happens.

I have tried 4 different bulbs both front and back. No difference.pfeener wrote:It's a bulb. Take another look or swap out the bulbs. The relay doesn't know which side it's blinking for. If it's different from one side to the other, it's one of the bulbs.

OK everyone, mystery solved. Fast flashing on the left turn signal was caused by a faulty socket. I had to take my voltmeter and put across the terminals and there just wasn't anything happening all the time. AND on top of that, the dashboard indicator that would show a burned out bulb did not indicate a burned out bulb either...so, got another socket from a yard and wired it in. Works great now.pfeener wrote:Strange. The only other thing I can think of is to swap bulbs side for side and see if it makes any difference.
