Stereo theft protection goes out of sync......

.....with the alarm (Volvo Guard) on my 855 (1995). Sounds silly ?? Hard to explain, but the Stereo (Volvo original w. CD and Cassette) has a "Disc in" theft protection feature, which disables the CD in case of theft. (What it actually does is, it prevents the loading of a CD into the drive.) This feature seems to be connected to the alarm. Once in a while they seem to go out of sync, leaving you without the use of the CD. Very annoying. Does anyone know of a simple solution to this ?? The way I usually overcome this is to press the remote twice in rapid succession, and after about a hundred tries or so, it usually comes into sync again, but not always.
