I am recently having a cloud of white smoke coming out of the air vents when car is warmed up. It does it fairly often lately. It does have a antifreeze smell to it. I am planning on replaceing the heater core. Or actually looking at the heater core and seeing if it might just be leaking around the two O RINGS.
Just wondered if anyone has done this or has any helpful hints/advise.
Thanks,
Kevin

It's one of two things, the A/C is freesing up (which it would cease to work)
If it's still working and is cold you need to replace the heater core.
Don't wait, as if you do, it will start to leak on your carpets!

A couple of suggestions:heater core will be coming out.
1) Drain the radiator before you even start.
2) Get the biggest garbage bags you can find and try to trap the residual coolant that is going to spill out of the heater core.
It is a messy job but it is do-able. The hardest part is undoing and re-doing the connectors from the heater hoses.
Best of luck,
