Apologize in advance if this is already discussed, just couldn't find it.
1.Are there any inner or outer dust seals on the rear hubs for my make and model?
2.Does anyone know good part numbers and if they are still available?
I have seen various posts addressing the parts listed below but believe they are for P2 or later. I know my bearing is a sealed unit on both sides but am unsure if there was a dust seal originally or one as a result of a service bulletin.
31360326 or 31340664 plastic ring (common RH/LH)
31329228 splash shield LH
31329409 splash shield RH
8624203 grease
Thanks in advance.

I should probably clarify my first post. The entire rear hub assembly and drive train have been removed, cleaned, and are ready for rebuild. I'm inquiring if there are any rear dust seals/boots to go on the inner or outer side of the bearing/hub assembly. Possible as a result of a service bulletin?

There is no seal shown on the rear assembly drawing on my copy of Vida parts listing for Volvos. If there was a subsequent change it is not shown here. You may want to speak to the dealer quoting the recall/bulletin number and they should then be able to help you.
As for the dust shield, they are part of the parking brake assembly and cannot be removed intact without removing the rear hub assembly. A Volvo specialist parts yard I deal with usually cut a slot in them to remove them and bend them around the hub to get them off. I have rare 1 year shields on my 2000 'R' and they are obsolete and I am sure I recall a friend with a 98 'R' saying his were also obsolete. I was very lucky the specialist yard know my obsessive behaviour and pulled a pair for my car by pulling the hubs to prevent damage. I then had them powder coated to keep as spares, but they ended up costing more than they were new!
