Clunk in steering, but not when shut off Topic is solved

Clunk in steering, but not when shut off

I have a clunk in the steering when I move the wheel back and forth quickly. When driving I don't notice it at all and it seems to drive just fine. The oddest thing is that it does not clunk when the engine is off. I can move the wheel back and forth and there's no clunk at all.

Just wondering if anyone might know what this is.

After more snooping I found bad inner tie rods.
