2007 xc90 trying to start ,the key will only move to the first position . the message center says low battery power save mode . i put a charger on , have 13 volts at positive connector under hood but same reading. any suggestions would be apprieciated. i have tried multiple keys.

well after trying wd-40, the rubber mallet,excesive turning force i figured nothing to lose so i cut the steel plate on the bottom side with a dremel and pried it out my switch turns freely. i may order a new one later but at least i can use my car again.
