I have 3 that will eventually go to scrap out there at the moment and yes, my wife says it looks like a junkyard. When the R wagon she was driving split an oil cooler and filled the cooling system with oil, overheating it, she did not complain about me having a Platinum sedan I bought 6 months ago with a bad trans ready to go the next day. I used to do this with GTOs (had 13 at once) but they are getting too hard to find too valuable to use for DDs.erikv11 wrote:Especially if you are doing upkeep on several P80 cars, having a parts car saves you tons of time and money as compared to going the junkyard. Once you actually try it, you will understand. Easier, faster, cheaper. The drawback for me is deciding how long I want to have a shell of a car hanging around out in the back driveway. If I had some kind of large garage or outbuilding, I would probably have a parts car at all times.

Let it sit overnight with the battery disconnected and then put a jumper between the pos and neg cables to be sure. Plugged into OBD and powered it up with key in position II. I thought my fuel trim would now be zero as there has been no run time. Oh, and the DTC is 1310
Follow up: Found a missing cap on the vacuum tree that was sucking air and fixed it. Took the car for a drive with scanner on live data and witnessed huge negative short term fuel trim numbers in the -20s.
