Does anyone know if there is a conversion kit for stock hid to halogen conversion.
My daughter just got this car and she went for a car wash. The problem is there are no caps on the headlight washers and her hid light went out.
I replaced the $100 bulb and still no hid. I suspect that she got the ballast wet when she got the car wash.
I believe in order to get at the ballast which sits under the headlight you have to take off the nose which I have done before on a v70.
Rather not go thru this hassle. I just rather convert over to halogen.
So two questions is there a conversion kit?
Or is there a way of testing the ballast without tearing the nose off?
Thanks Madness

I would say converting to halogen is more of a hassle plus the lights will never be as good as the stock hid so you would waste time downgrading the car. Better to have someone knowledgeable take a look at the lighting system
