302mm Caliper Bracket Available at ViVA Performance

Post by vivaperformance »

Hey Everyone

I wanted to let you know that we will be stocking Genuine Volvo 302mm Caliper brackets for the Volvo 850, S70, C70 and V70 Platform. They are available at the lowest prices, guaranteed. We do offer a 120 day return policy and best price guarantee.

These brackets allow you to use your existing calipers with the larger 302mm rotors (vs 280mm stock rotors) which in turn results in increased braking performance and better heat dispersion.

You can find the 302mm Caliper Brackets here below for $49.99 per bracket.

Certain model V70s and C70s did come already equipped with the 302mm front rotors, so please measure to confirm you do not already have this brake setup. Should you need help checking, we can be of assistance.

Awesome price. Cheaper than people sell them for on eBay, etc. Also, not really worth the hunt. Get them while they last.

Yes, these pop up in quantity maybe twice a year. Classic example of more demand than goods. In 2012 you could still find them (pairs) without too much trouble from a private party or retailer. It's harder in 2017.

Remember, check your wheels. Not all will clear these brakes. Columba's will not clear (ubiquitous 850 Turbo wheels used for 4 years), for instance.

Some helpful info for people thinking about this fantastic upgrade:
Our turbo 5-cylinders are so easy to make lots of power with. It's important to do brakes and handling.

I hope this hasn't already been discussed before...but I haven't found any info when I searched. Do the Perseus wheels that came with Platinum Edition 850s clear the 302mm brake setup?

These brackets and the larger rotors are money well invested in my opinion. I got them last spring and wouldn't want to miss them.

AK, if nobody replies with an answer, post this question as a New Topic in this forum. It'll get more attention by itself.

Not a bad price at all! Glad to see them available again. And somehow $25 cheaper than FCP!
If the Perseus wheels are 16" (I believe they are) they should clear. The only 16s that won't clear the brackets are the Columbas, I believe.

I'm almost certain Persus wheels will work with this set up, but only because I believe I read it someplace, which means that info is out there. Some later model V70's came with those wheels, including I believe an occasional AWD non XC, from 99-2000. I drive by a 99 or 2000 V70 AWD every day that has a perfect set of Persus wheels on it, which is how I know. I'm also assuming he has the bigger caliper set up. IPD will know?

But very few P80 cars had the 302mm setup. I've looked at a lot of C70 cars in the junkyard and I have not found a C70 with them in 2 years, probably 20 cars.

I recently had a wheel issue in travel and totally forgot that these brakes will effect my spare options. I had a full size 17" spare this time but wasn't thinking about it. :(
