A/C Blue square flashed, '90 760 + SRS light

'90 760 Turbo Wagon ( '85 740 drivetrain ), 257k miles with a fairly recent rebuilt A/C compressor installed. The A/C button flashed repeatedly and constantly today untill I turned off the engine. A/C compressor was kicking on and off properly w/ cold air but I could not turn off the blue light. Hasn't come back on but am traveling in 2 weeks near Death Valley.

The SRS light has been on for about a week... What's this ? Steering wheel/ air bag is from an 850

Heading back to Kansas City from Los Angeles Thursday. Blue square hasn't flashed again although I noticed the compressor when kicked on is making a subtle, even and consistant "muffled baby rattle" sound. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Think I'll tackle that California desert at night.

Have been told by non MVS member that when the SRS light is on, airbag will not deploy.

Test unit 0126A feels a little like Apollo 13 except where days can get hot; 120+

, instead of cold...
