Bought one (97 850T) that slid sideways off the road in the ice and the rear wheel way off caster. I assume the axle or rear control arm is bent or both.
I have another one on the rack dropping the rear suspension out for the parts (and to see how the good one should come apart).
Any advice on where to disconnect the E brake cables? they seem to run all the way forward in the interior to the lever and the pin at the rear does not look like it will easily come out. Can anyone point me to a write up or anything on how to do it?
thanks

You can disconnect the cable from the brake drum/rotor but you need to remove the rotor to do it. You will need to slack off the adjuster before you try to remove the rotor or chances are it won't come off for you.
Once inside, you can disconnect the cable from the actuator which is pictured here:
I have a writeup on the parking brakes in this thread:

There are several others in the database as well.

To disconnect the actuator arm, you will need to pull the center console to access the cable end at the parking brake lever. You will have to remove the lever arms for the cables to allow the cables to extend enough at the rear hubs to be able to remove the actuator arms.
