1999 S80 fuse blowing

Post by matthew1 »

It's my dad's S80. The fuse that powers the instrument cluster and headlights (?) keeps blowing. All others seem ok.

My dad's stumped and so am I. Any thoughts?

I have looked at wiring diagrams for two days now and can't see a connection between the headlights and the instrument cluster.

Which fuse is blowing and is it the instruments themselves or the cluster lights that are going off?

Bill.

i have had problems with my lights and dash. turned out to be the #7 fuse (5amp). Since replacing it, I was driving and lost power to the instrument cluster and engine. what could cause this?
