Removed my climate control console without disconnecting the battery like a moron and now I have the message. I've searched this and it seems most of the threads date back five years or so and most of the links are dead.
Looking for a solution or the proper reader to clear this. Any advice is appreciated.

You will need a code reader like an icarsoft 908 to clear it or take it to the dealer.

I did some searching last night, you are correct and this is exactly what I found. Thanks!ThommyKent wrote:You will need a code reader like an icarsoft 908 to clear it or take it to the dealer.

I did something similarly foolish. I bought an Autel MaxiDiag Elite from NAPA and used it to reset my SRS light. Be advised: Don't buy a cheap knock off from Amazon. It won't be supported by Autel and you won't be happy. It has a S/N chip inside that the chinese can't clone.

I have the icarsoft and it's saved me tons and helped me diagnose two serious issues against a cost of around $110. I wouldn't own my Volvos without one, or one like it.
I am definitely getting one!Cees Klumper wrote:I have the icarsoft and it's saved me tons and helped me diagnose two serious issues against a cost of around $110. I wouldn't own my Volvos without one, or one like it.
