XC90 - number of seats?

Was the 5 or 7 seat an option or based on engine size? For example can you get a 2.5T with 7 seats? I think I have seen the 2.5T with both 5 or 7 seats but I am not sure. If the 2.5T does not come with the 7 seat option I may have to re-think my plans.

FWIW my 06 V8 has 7 seats (third row)

My newly acquired XC90 2006 2.5T has the third row, rear A/C and it's a base model, no sunroof or heated seats, though it does have the optional sound splitter box in the 6th and 7th seating position so they can use headphones and listen to a different source from the head unit.

Over here all the Aussie XC90s got the 3rd row; not certain about the Canadian and US markets though.
