It would be interesting to know what was in the trailer, as far as weight. But my guess is not that much since the wind pushed it over.

But yeah, incredible regardless.

Great stuff, but a bit disappointed they didn't mention the car was a Volvo in the news clip.

I will tell you this- the metal is pretty strong and it has good "memory." A few years ago, my S70 got doused with baseball size hail. An adjuster came out and paid me like $1500 to have the car repaired but I chose not to. By mid summer when temps were really high, most of the dents were gone. Other cars, like my friend's Toyota look horrible to this day. My car, little dimples, unless you really look for them on the roof and hood are pretty much invisible. This was another episode of coming out ahead with insurance because I owned a Volvo. We have several similar stories in our family of mostly DIY restoration and/or repairs that didn't cost an arm and a leg that insurance was willing to pay for.

This one seems to have a cage, but still, it's neat:

Needs rear suspension work,,,perfect for Neil.

If I hurry, I bet I can still get some cheap engine oil from that one before Neil gets up there

Hey, if anyone is parting out that ruby red Volvo wagon I'll take the radiator and the wheels. Amazing the radiator didn't fail during all of the wrecking and those look like either Perfo's or Columbo wheels! Sorry, JRL- you'll have to let me have those items. But hey, maybe it had a 3rd seat you can have!
