changed complete struts today

Post by jenkinskg »

WOW, did not know how good the car could feel.
I can now hit a manhole cover or pothole and not worry about bottoming out.
Amazing now, feels like a real car.
I bought these same ones from same seller for my daughters 04 s60, they are on for almost 2 years not and still feel great.

http://stores.ebay.com/completestruts/

for my 04 c70 cost $211 comes with springs, strut and top bearings, both parts, all assembled, too less than 1/2 hr per side and was on the road ASAP.

Now sending KONI's back for warranty, they felt bad day one, glad I don't pay someone for the labor.

I don't find Volvo as a choice in that site ..maybe they stopped carrying them

Do you know if they use OEM strut bearings up top? Thats the weak spot in aftermarket.

Bolt on/off sounds great! I have a indie who assembles mine for one hour labor with the big , tabletop spring compressor. Much nicer than mine.

Direct link to the struts for Volvo.

Does not look like OEM, but might be mistaken?

How many miles on the S60? I could be wrong but I think most of the units will last 50,000 miles at best.

Boom. Marketing says you can have it all. Physics says you have to choose performance or comfort.
