Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I put in one from an online Volvo parts store that was made for my 850, and it was a snap. It was $125 I believe... You might want to think twice about getting the generic type to save a few dollars just because the dedicated ones are so easy. The wiring harness was the hardest part.

For dedicated:
Drive up ramps, unscrew old sensor from exhaust, follow back (up into the engine bay) and unclip wire harness, screw new sensor in, attach wire harness.

The harness is tough because it's in a place good only for small hands. But it's not difficult, just tricky.

If the sensor is stubborn coming out, shoot some WD40 on it. Hell, do that anyway.

120 is a bit steep for one sensor. I was thinking about getting the generic one for 49.00 at autozone and just splice the 4 wires into the present o2 sensor. SInce you did it and it worked I was thinking about doing it for my car. does the 4 wires just hook up to any ofthe 4 wires or is there a specific way to splice it in?

I didn't do the splice method... I actually traded advertising for the dedicated sensor -- the easy one -- and did it that way.

I wish I could help more.

Perhaps a Google search will turn up more. Let us know if you do find the way to do it, please.

Thanks and good luck.
