What year? Take the car to get the code pulled. Many parts houses will pull the code for free (Advance Auto, Main Auto, some PEP Boys, etc...). If you have emissions check stations that check your codes as part of the emissions they will usually pull the codes and clear them for a small fee. Option three is to take it the car to an Independant repar center (INDY) and have the codes pulled - this can run $30 - $80 just to have them pulled and cleared. Purchase a code reader (OBDII on 95 and newer, OBD on 93-94 models) and read it youself - search the list there are some options on doing this for under $100). The last option is take in to the dealer - most expensive.

Something has caused the error code and it will need to be corrected. It may be minor (and the car seems to run fine and the milage is unaffected) or you may have somthing that is way wrong. In either case it needs to be corrected.

Good Luck,
