I'm afraid this is a dumb question, but I'm hoping someone can give an easy answer:
Tonight I loosened the intake manifold on my 2004 xc70 to get a broken intake bolt out (broke when doing pcv system). Thinking I would have to take the manifold off and remove the fuel line, I pressed the green tabs to disconnect it. But I ultimately was able to do the job without doing that (I just pulled the manifold away from the block a little). So, my question: since I've pressed those tabs, will the fuel line be loose somehow if I don't disconnect it fully and put it back in? I ask cause I remember that when it connects (when I took the fuel rail off last), it clicks; so, having pressed those tabs, do I now need to disconnect and push it back in till it clicks? Or will it be fine since I never actually pulled the line of of the fuel rail and the connection?
Again, a dumb question, but since I don't know exactly how those tabs hold the line in, and what pressing the tabs releases, I thought I'd ask you all before I tighten all the bolts up tomorrow. I assume it's fine, but better safe than sorry with fuel.
Thanks!

Just saw this 23 day old post.
What did you end up doing?
I would've guessed that merely pressing the connector in to itself (as a double check) is enough since you didn't pull it apart.
