Neil.
Will do that too, thank you :)

I did the 2 mounts (center front and passenger side front) this afternoon. It took about 4 hours including clean up. I removed fan shroud to make room and jacked up front of engine very slowly. I checked around all the mounts position at each incremental height until new front center mount was put into position. Then I lowered the engine slowly but checked around too. I encountered a small Oops - passenger side engine sat on top of old mount, just a little bit. I jacked up engine again and removed old passenger side front mount. Then put in a new passenger side front mount (bolted to engine) and started to lower engine again with 2 frame bolts installed to the passenger side front mount. Each time I lowered the engine a little bit, I tightened those 2 bolts more in the passenger side mount. I repeated this process until engine was full lowered. After clean up, I started car and check vibration, those 2 new mounts made a big difference !

I did jack up two front rotor to try to keep both axles as level as possible when engine was jacked up. Also, rear center mount nut was not fully removed. I kept the nut screwed on couple turns.

Thank you for all the advice and comments.

How many miles on your car and what were the symptoms?

FYI, my 1998 S70 GLT with 185K miles:
- Passenger Front mount was replaced by P.O. at dealer around 135K miles or so.
- The top Torque Mount: I replaced it using the Lemforder mount (around $10 or so) at 150K. It is still OK 35K later.

- The Center Front and Center Rear mounts are still original. After reading how difficult it is, I stay away from these 2 mounts.
Also, the engine runs fine, no vibration, so I am not touching these 2 mounts LOL...

My car has about 340xxx miles, almost time for another Timing belt change. Front engine mount and tranny torque rod were replaced back in 141230 miles. Passenger side engine mount was replaced back in 220377 miles. Rear mount was replaced by Volvo garage due to it's difficulty about 2 years ago.

The symptom was ample vibration when idling during winter time. Driving did not feel that much of vibration.
