1998 v70 brakes

My dad's 1998 awd v70 needs brakes front rear and parking shoes.. I just wanted to know if there are different part options for this year like my s40 and xc90 because I want to order online. I think I remember doing the rears and ending up with the wrong rotors, but this was over 5 years ago.

You should order by VIN as there are variations on disc size and parking brake shoe sizes

The AWD have different rear brakes to FWD, but the fronts should be the same. Same calipers are used, just different mounting brackets and flexi-hose for 280mm and 302mm rotor diameters. The AWD is similar to the V70XC, so I would expect it to use 280mm rotors. Easiest thin to do is remove one of the front wheels and measure. I believe the rears are also the same as the V70 XC, but best to verify. Try IPDUSA website as they have one of the best and accurate sites for parts identification.

As you are in NYC area you could try Tasca parts for OE parts as they have good prices or FCP Euro for OE and aftermarket options.
