trying to contact Matt about the Big Blue tool

Post by alschnertz »

I attempted to post a question regarding the Big Blue too rental but couldn't submit because I was using the incorrect format for the date requested.
Can someone tell me the correct format for date posting?

Trying again...
I'm hoping to do the Delta links and Trailing Arm Bushings on my '95 854T soon.
Just inquiring if the BBT (Big Blue Tool) will be available around May 19, 2017.
Thank you.

Hi, I didn't see your first post... anyway, I'll email you at the email address you have associated with your forum account and we'll go from there. For the record, the Contact page works. I get emails every day from it. https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/contact

HA! I ran into same issue. Tried a bunch of different formats and finally got it to work.

Solution:
International date format yyyy-mm-dd
eg: 2017-06-06

Alas, inquiries about renting my Big Blue Tool are few and far in-between. No one uses IBM anymore, apparently

On a Google image search for "big blue tool," the following images comes up as the 22nd option on my computer. (Following over a dozen images of this "big blue book" (http://www.parktool.com/assets/img/prod ... -3_001.jpg). I know my algorithm is adjusted for my "Volvo ways," but pretty interesting considering the commonness of the word "blue" and "tool."

Not sure what you mean.

I contacted Matt about the tool recently. Hoping to use it later this summer.
Trying to keep this well worn 854T on the road for a few more years!

I think you can leave the date field. just have a hint it should be in: yyyy-mm-dd eg: 2017-01-01

So... are we supposed to get replies to our big blue request(s)?

Winnebago, I don't have any pending emails to get back to. When did you submit a message? Did you use the Contact page? Let's move this to email: please email me at [email protected]
