So every night/extended period I'm away from my vehicle, the passenger sideview mirror tilts itself up. I'm planning on taking it apart when I get the time, is there anything I should look for specifically?
Anyone else have this issue?
Passenger sideview mirror repositions itself overnight?

mine does the same but both sides, my driver switch also clicks but only when its cold like overnight. i think its related but like you trying to get the time. it may have something to do with the mirror/seat memory function.
do you hear it while unlocking the car in the morning??

I have this issue on the passenger side as well, only it happens whenever I shut the car off for a period longer than a minute or so. For example, if I park and go into a store, and come out five minutes later, as soon as I unlock the door the mirror on the passenger's side reverts to the tilted-upwards position. Every. Time. The side view mirrors and driver's seat positions are all supposed to be saved in the same memory setting, and I believe the car reverts to the last setting used every time you unlock it, but for some reason it's got the wrong memory of the passenger's side mirror...
Would love to know how to fix this.

I may end up just disconnecting the control/power to whatever motor controls the mirror position, and just locking it in position manually... we'll see.
I don't think I've ever noticed it moving when I unlock the car in the morning. It's not always all the way up, sometimes if I've left it for a few hours it'll be halfway tilted or something. My switch does not click, but I can hear the motor clicking (I think that's what it is) when I reposition the passenger side mirror.

You guys did try to set the seat memory when the mirrors and seat is in your preferred positions, right? If I recall correctly you hold down one of the memory buttons for a few seconds to set it.

Oh yeah? You too? I didn't know this was a thing until just now reading of your issue. While mine isn't an everyday occurrence, it happens frequently enough to drive me a bit batty when I notice I'm seeing a whole lot of sky in my driver's side mirror. The passenger side is rock steady. I have to dive into the driver-side door's innards this next week to see why the window doesn't want to roll down. If I find anything odd about the mirror I'll report back with my findings.jmacfarland wrote: ↑01 Jul 2017, 22:55 So every night/extended period I'm away from my vehicle, the passenger sideview mirror tilts itself up. I removed this relay from the DDM and then tested the module in the car to see what it controlled. The drivers door mirror and window didnt work but all other doors worked as normal. It could be this relay causing you dramas you really have to be there when your mirrors move and see if you hear clicking from the DDM

Yes, I did put everything in the proper position and set the memory function. In fact I set it in all three memory positions so that it wouldn't have a choice but to put it in the right position, but it still does it. All of the other components go to their proper position when I hit the memory function, but the passenger side mirror always goes up.
I'm able to control the mirror with no issues and get it to go where I want with manual control. But it's almost as if whatever sensor is responsible for measuring the mirror's position for automatic/memory control is always reporting the position as "all the way up."
