Vibrating new tires
Vibrating new tires
I purchased four new winter tires which worked fine. I just bought purchased four new Bridgestone, and put them on the same rims. The car vibrates. I have had the car back four times for balancing. What is the likely cause. Could them have warped a rotor.

A warped rotor would cause vibration in the brake pedal when braking. Sounds like the technicians are new summer help that have yet to learn the art of balancing yet.

Try going to a tire shop that has the machinery to 'match balance' the tires. It is a very sophisticated and expensive way to match the high spot of a tire which may be out of round with the optimal position on the rim to get a perfect balance. Your every day tire shop with a spin balancer would not have it. Ask for it and if they look at you like they have never heard of it before, go somewhere else.
It will be about 6-8 dollars more expensive per tire to get it done but highly worth it on problem tires. Most people hesitate to pay the extra $ therefore most shops do not have the machine.
Happy hunting.
