I own a 99 v70xc awd.
put on a new cat from magna flow. not a bad up grade
looking for exhaust the 99 has the rear exhaust going OVER the left rear axle. ok no big deal.
Was looking at a 2001 xc that has the same set up as far as i can tell in the rear axle / cross member.....
although the exhaust is running under the whole set up very nicely.......
has anyone tried a swap of the exhaust yet? lookjs like it should fit....

You would have to have the muffler tip exiting on the LHS so you would need to open up the cut-out in the rear bumper and then trim it if it fits. I guess the best way to check it could work is to pull one from a scrap car and see what happens? The rear muffler on our 06 XC70 is much larger than the V70XC so will it fit up under the gap between the rear frame rail and the spare wheel well?
