Heating elements are only there if selected by option from the factory. Very rare in 2nd row seats, never existed in 3rd row seats. The wiring for 2nd row heat is all there in 850s, even for the switches (but not the switches themselves), not sure about x70s.

The wiring is probably there in x70s... these cars are pre-wired for pretty much everything. Maybe even for options that never existed.

Nice list! Unfortunately I missed out on a bunch of those R parts last year after finding an almost totally stripped saffron V70R at Pull a Part.
Always grab wagon spoilers/wings. I've been searching for one at PaP for a long time now, and I have never found one. Only that V70R had one, and it was gone by the time I got to the car. Anyway, if anyone would care to donate a wing to my V70 build...

There are a few parts that are becoming obsolete, and should be added but are often of unknown condition:

1) Engine oil cooler thermostat for -98 turbo cars.
2) AWD lower torque rod
3) Probably not worth it to pull due to time it takes but, there is a vent pipe that rots out on the top of 99-00 AWD fuel tanks that has weird and hard to replicate rubber ends. If you are pulling other part from that end then do it!
4) Angle gear for AWD cars for all years.
5) Rear brake backing plates (again hard to pull as the bearing holds them in, but a simple cut with a hacksaw allows removal by bending over the hub
6) Not sure what it is called by there is a bush on the rear AWD hub on both sides that is obsolete, part # 9157316
7) 2000 V70 base with 5 speed auto RH driveshaft. Could only find one used OE when I was looking in NA.
8) Good interior panels for wagons, especially in rear load area. Usually cracked.

I'm sure there will be more that come to mind!

Neil.

Is this a real thing? Here I've been looking for plain ol' non-heated seats. What a cruel dad I would be if I made 2/3 kids sit in the 'freezy' seats during winter!

There were heated rear seats , but they are rare and hard to find

Good Dads find them for their kids though, let us know how you measure up

The heated third row seat has a unicorn appearance , there are rumors , innuendo, and many believe they all ended up at Area 51. I believe MVS used to have an incentive of a free 1998 Electronic Throttle body for anyone who submitted a picture of one.

They keep those '98 ETMs with the '95 VVT hubs. Rare parts...
