Brake booster

Post by TheOEL »

I have been having a problem with the Vacuum switch that controls the vacuum pump. Eventually I bought a new hose from U.K and now have to fit it. As the booster is on the opposite side of the car with a right hand drive car the hose assembly and vacuum sensor are different, however, the fitting into the booster drum looks to have the same fitting as is on the actual vacuum switch for L.H.D. cars.

Has anyone had experience getting this hard plastic fitting out and/or back in?
