I wasn't able to open the first link/image - this may be something about where I am at.

Odds are the arm on the back of the control panel snapped where the cable is inserted that goes to the drivers side temp control cable, or where the cable hits the arm at the mixer. I'd remove the cable from the control panel and attempt to move it manually.

If it is snapped at the control panel then I'd just attempt to procure another or see if you can modify what you have with an epoxy such as JB-Weld. Remember that the cable should be able to turn without restriction to avoid it snagging and potentially eating through the cable jacket.

If it doesn't move at the mixer box while moving the cable then you may require a new cable.

That I don't know. Possibly through the glove compartment but one of the folks with this year & model will likely respond in the next 8-14 hours. Still 02:00 here on the east coast of USA.

MCC was pretty rare here and we can't search three character phrases, either.

The cable can be accessed from under the dash though and it's pretty simple
