Water Leak Under Glove Compartment

Hi,

My Volvo 940 has a leak under the compartment. I have checked with my air-conditioning technician, confirming there is no leak on from the AC. Yesterday we pour the water on the windshield, and saw the water drain in like a stream at the edge under of the firewall after removing the floorboard carpet.

My Volvo technician, said need to replace the glass seal as the water comes through from it. Today I went to the windshield shop to get it done.

Question is, what if still the water coming in?

My air-conditioning drain is fine, also took off the wiper panel, it is clean and fine.

Any other suggestions if it still continues to leak?
