2007 xc 70 skip only at a time when shiting into high gear

motor has a skip/hesitation only at one point- during commute when accelerating from a toll booth around a ramp and transmission shifts into high gear say at 45 mph. engine has 1 or 2 skips almost every day at that time. Idles smooth and runs great all other times. 195k miles, plugs and fuel filter replaced 95k miles ago. no engine code.

any recommendations on trouble shooting this?

Plugs at 95k? Time for some new ones!! Single electrode plugs for turbos, three electrodes for NA engines

Your coil on plugs also are getting near end of life, so consider replacing them too, if you want a trouble free car. They are tough to diagnose when they fail intermittently like this.
