1999 V70 AWD Front differential (Bevel/Angle gear) shims/spacers

Post by Bamseclub »

Hi!

I had problems with my bevel gear and had it removed to inspect what was the matter with it. I came to the conclusion that the bearings needed to be replaced and so I ordered ones that fit (Koyo). Now I have a problem because I can´t use the original spacers that come between the bearings and the outer box itself because I can´t find it due to a fire in a storage that the parts were kept. Now I´m looking for a set of new shims/spacers or the diameters of ones that fit to have them made.

Here´s a photo of same shim that is needed:

Cars VIN is YV1LW56K3Y2695226 if that helps.

I have a number of Volvo axle and trans shims. I have them in a drawer and no part numbers on them. If you can provide diameter and the thickness you need I may be able to help.

Outer diameter of the shim is something close to 61mm (2.4inch), because the bearing is 62mm in diameter and the plate should be little smaller to fit it. Thickness is a bit smaller than 2mm (0.078inch). If you could find something similar to that it would be awesome, thanks!
