Startup problems - sometimes

I really hope some of you can help me out.

Sometimes, and only sometimes my V70 2001, starts like this:

Misfiring and rumbling. If I touch the gas pedal, and release it straight away, the car revs it up to 3-3500rpm and keeps it there.

And all of sudden, next time is start the car, it will stop doing 'this' and run perfectly normal.
I've cleaned the ETM, charged the battery, checked all spark plugs.

It's a white label with the logo of Magneti Marelli on the etm.

That looks like the original ETM from 2001, they usually last about 200,00 km before they fail.

Check all the induction hoses for leaks or loose clamps, then in VIDA you can monitor the ETB position when the high idle occurs

I disconnected the battery and did the following:
Cleaned the ETM, gently with brake cleaner and did not soak it in.
Removed the MAP and MAF sensor cleaned contact point and reconnected.

Installed all of the parts again. Reconnected battery. Now it works, again. But We'll se for how long.

I will take it to a Volvo Mechanic tomorrow and have him look at it.
