1998 v70 computer chip upgrade

Hi guys Graham here, has anybody had any experience with a company called Dynamic Tuning they have computer chips listed on E-bay in the parts section. They claim a Hp gain of 15% and up to 10MPG improvement and the price is quite reasonable (around $8.00).
Any input would be appreciated Thanks!

Which V70 do you have? Does it have a turbo?

$8.00 for an $800 product? And more power and better gasmilage at the same time? I wonder why Volvo didn't think of that. We could all be driving cars that get 40mpg and do 0-60 in 6 seconds - for only $8.00!!!

save your money and time, buy a cup of coffee and think about the scam first.

Here's the product we're talking about. Is it actually a chip? The description doesn't say exactly what it is.

Feedback: 98.0% Positive

98% is considered a poor rating on eBay. He has 28 negative feedbacks in the last month.

But hey, $8.50 isn't much money, and it looks like refunds happen if you compain:
"Requested refund since item was not what I thought it was. Refund was prompt."
