95 940turbo with 123k miles makes groaning/creaking noise

when I brake from ~20 mph or make turns or go over bumps I hear this groaning noise or creaking noise like rip...rip...rip...
I've read alot about it online and they say it's rubber getting old.
I seem to get this both from front and from rear of the car.
I tried lubricating bushings with wd40 (sorry did not know that I was bad for rubber) and it went away fro couple of days, but then came back.

I recently was replacing my shocks and strut cartidges and happened to take a look at my front suspension components. Everything looked fine to me.
The rear looked fine too.

I did not replace strut mount or bearing since it looked ok.

What could I do? it's driving me crazy. To have this in otherwise perfectly normal car. Can it still be strut bearings? How to deal with this?

My 940 had the same problem and I could not see that anything needed replacement.

I sprayed all the rubber parts back and front with a rubber lubricant and heard not a peep from it for over 12 months. That was when I sold it.

which rubber lubricant have you used? what parts did you lubricate? all bushing?

I always use Holts Rubber and Nylon Lubricant.

On the suspension/steering I spray every bit of rubber I can see.

I also use it on door, boot and sunroof seals to keep them supple and watertight.
