Front brake lines & brake fluid flush: what order?

Post by moonweasel »

Hello friends,

I have cracked front brake hoses & brown brake fluid.

I have found good tutorials for each of these jobs, but for same reason I can't get my head around the best/smartest way to sequence the two jobs, with the goal obviously of avoiding air bubbles in the hydraulic system.

Replace lines then flush system? Flush with old lines on then replace? Flush with lines off somehow?

Can someone smarter than me help me out here?

- Replace brake hoses, then flush.

- I posted detailed DIY for my P80 1998 V70, search the P80 forum for all the detail!
