radio codes 1997 V90

Hello I just joined the forum and purchased a 1997 V90 sta wgn that is a real beauty! I changed the timing belt and had to disconnect the battery per the manuel when I did this. The problem is that the car runs great but the radio won't work, I only get a message code. I can't find the codes any where in the manuel. I have a SC-816 radio, can anyone help me with the codes or do I have to take the car to a dealership ( 2hours away) in odrer to get the radio code?Thanks George

You should be able to call the dealer and possibly fax them ownership papers. Most will just tell you.
