stalling problem

HI All this is my first post
I got my 2002 v40 a few months ago and seller told me it was a little hard to start which didn't seem like a big issue so I didn't deal with it the symptoms were it would just crank a few seconds longer than normal but would then start fine but a few months later it wouldn't start without pressing the throttle so we bought a throttle position sensor which did nothing and next thought was the replace the fuel pressure regulator which solved it except for not staying running it only stays running with the gas peddle pressed as soon as you leave off the gas it dies. The codes says maf sensor which when we tried it nothing changed, I should say that the fuel pressure sensor was used. Currently sometimes it's a bit hard to start again as well as stalling immediately after you take your foot off the gas, I seached before posting to find some changed the idles control gasket with good results so I bought one yesterday but didn't have anyone put it in yet. appreciate and insight !!

Sounds like the idle Control valve is bad, also check your ignition coils for cracks. Had the same problem with my s40 t4, but it would also die randomly while driving due to the cracks. Replaced the Idle Control Valve today and now the car runs great!
