240,000 miles 19 years old, original
Replaced with cheap ebay assembly, very noisy. I by mistake, ran the new pump dry, by thinking I had enough fuel in the tank. It only primed after I added 5 gallons of fuel, after a few dry attempts.

Did I hurt the new pump?? Or maybe a bad install?? Either way I will buy a new pump soon to replace (no hurry) Any good sale on pumps or sources.

Quiet with full tank, Noisy when low. waiting for warm weather. When it died, banging on tank got it going again.
