I agree wholeheartedly! The OEM radio had a 3 lever equalizer on the left side of the radio. The light burnt out, so i couldn't see what stations were on. I replaced it with a vintage 80's Alpine cassette deck. An Alpine deck seemed appropriate for a Swedish car.

My radio in my 740 had a equalizer with a bunch of levers, the unit was the size of the radio but just below. It was a great option compared to the standard radio alone. To use 80s terminology, it was real high-tech. Nowadays it likely would look cheap
