CD Changer Stuck

Hi Guys,
New to this site and Volvo ownership so I have a strange question. Bought a C70 2002 with the SC-813 Radio and CD Changer in the boot. When the cartridge is empty I simply press it and it pops out as usual. I then put CD's in and it plays fine, however when I want to remove it to change the CD's there is still one inside the unit and I have no idea how it comes out!!!
I have tried everything, even disconnecting the battery. There are no instructions anywhere on how to get it out, am I having a BLOND MOMENT???
Help greatly appreciated!!

I don't have the 813. But i am sure the cd is supposed to come out. It does on my 801 and all changers i've ever had.
Have you tried to put annempty cd cartridge in there (remove all the discs) and then try to change the cd slot. This should get the cd out of the changer.

Can you see what model of remote CD changer you have as there were a few?

Thanks for the reply guys. Not had a look at it today yet. Going to take the panel off in the boot so I can get to it. Shall update later.

I told you I was having a blond moment!!! Took off the panel to get to the changer and there is a BIG green eject button that I couldn't see!!!! Oh well, live and learn!!

Well, we have all had that moment at least once (some of us many times!!). Glad you got it figured out. Was beginning to think I should pack one from my spares stash and bring it on my visit to Scotland in a few weeks!
