Looking at said car...any pitfalls or things to check on this year/model?

Oops. 200K KM. Looks like it's been pretty well taken care of, all the maintenance seems to have been done at regular intervals.

Check all ball joints, brakes and get under it and look for oil leaks etc. Do a compression test for the overall health of the engine.
