2000 xc70 coolant level dash light

70k mile major service just done on 2000 xc70 se lp turbo with 81k including timing belt and tensioners due to cam shaft seal leak. 2 days later Coolant level icon on dash comes on. Cooling fan no longer runs after shut down engine and level indicator good doing continuity test. Any ideas. I do not have a code reader. Any suggestions maybe a relay??

There is a float in the reservoir that sometimes sticks at the bottom of the reservoir, causing the light to come on, even tough the level is ok. I just replaced mine for this problem.

thanks, and maybe just taking the tank off viewing the bottom dislodged the float or what ever and the light went out. Continuity was good so maybe it was a float issue and the fan runs again too.
