S60 T5 Hard to start and fuel Smell

Latest Update - Just spent over $1,000.00 getting the fuel pump replaced. Strange, Volvo says my vehicle is not affected, but repairs it the same way as they repair the recalled vehicles. Then the person from the NHTSA e-mails me and is upset because I included his work contact information in this forum. Funny how a public servant doesn't want anyone to know how to contact him at his job which we pay for! He is paid by our tax dollars!

Final Update (I hope)- After sending numerous e-mails to everyone I could think of at Volvo, I received a call from Volvo Customer service. They are going to do the right thing and reimburse me for the repairs. Only bad thing is that because of corporate red tape it'll take 8-12 weeks, but at least they're doing it.
