Morning guys;
I made an attempt to remove my existing upper left side tail light assembly but my straight socket with or without the extension just does not cut it. I thought this would be easy but it seems I need some additional tool(s). Is a "swivel" adapter what I need to loosen those two 10mm nuts?
Swivel needed?

Also called a wobble or universal joint.
Tape the socket and swivel to the extension so they don’t drop into the abyss of the tailgate, a couple of wraps

I echo the use of the 10mm deep socket. Also put a bit of grease around the edge of the socket so the nut sticks to the socket when it comes off rather than falling into the abyss.
Les is more.
